Spicy Pulled Pork Sandwiches

1/2 lbs. pork butt or pork shoulder

1/2 cup green onions chopped

2 cloves garlic peeled

2 serrano chiles stemmed and seeded

2 tbs. tomato paste

2 tbs. brown sugar

1 tsp. allspice ground

1 tsp. thyme ground

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

1 tbs. Gecko Gary's OUCHipotle hot sauce

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

large hamburger buns

Rinse pork dry.  Combine the first eleven ingredients and blend in a food processor.  Add the vinegar.  Blend until smooth.  Pour over the pork in a heavy pan.  Marinate at least  two hours to overnight.  Add 1 cup of water to the pan.  Cover and bring to a strong simmer over medium - high heat.  Lower the heat to very low and simmer 2 1/2 hours until meat is tender and shreds easily.  Remove from heat and transfer the pork to a large bowl.  Skim the cooking juices to remove the fat.  Bring cooking liquid to a boil and simmer five minutes.  Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the cooking liquid.  With two forks, shred the pork and add the cooking liquid.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.  Serve on hamburger buns.
