Smokin' Beef Chili

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

2 pasilla peppers finely chopped

2 medium onions chopped

2 - 28oz cans diced tomatoes liquid drained

2 - 6oz cans tomato paste

1 cup beef broth

1 Tbsp. beef base paste

5 large cloves garlic crushed and chopped

1 Tbsp. salt

1 Tbsp. black  pepper

2 Tbsp.  brown sugar

1/2 Tsp. oregano

2 Tbsp. chile  powder

1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper

1 Tbsp. paprika

1 Tsp. cumin

1 Tsp garlic powder

1/3 cup red wine

3 Tbsp Gecko Gary's Hot Sauce

In a large thick pot, brown the meat and the garlic.  Drain the fat off.  Add the spices and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes.  Add the remaining ingredients.  Stir well. Cover and simmer on low heat for 2 hours.
